About us
Our journey began in 1956 with Giuseppe Modena, a boating and engine enthusiast. Since 2004 his children, Luisa and Stefano, run the yard.
Today Nautica Modena offers complete care to even the most demanding boat owners, while keeping the flexibility and the attention of a family business.
Our history

Giuseppe Modena, a boating and engine enthusiast, founds the yard in Lazise.
A mahogany Piantoni with a 10 hp outboard motor.
Storage and maintenance begin on the shore of the lake.
The move to the current premises, to meet a growing demand.
Mercruiser and Volvo Penta service centre, and a dealership with Cantieri A. Mostes.
A second location, with a modern workshop and body shop.
Luisa and Stefano take over and keep the yard growing.
Closer ties with law enforcement, for ordinary and extraordinary maintenance.
We become an authorized centre for FB Design, MED and Stem Marine.
New jetties and a new organization of the moorings in the water.
Our special units division, for the maintenance and outfitting of government and military vessels.

The division
Nautica Modena D.U.S. is the division dedicated to vessels and maritime services for law enforcement agencies, public authorities and emergency organizations.
We support Police Forces, Carabinieri, Guardia di Finanza, Coast Guard, Fire Brigade, Red Cross, Local Police and regional authorities, with nautical solutions built for reliability, operational readiness and continuity of service.
